Why process painting might be the perfect fit for you

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

~ Thomas Merton

At its heart, process painting is a form of intuitive, expressive art-making. In this studio, it’s not about creating something aesthetically pleasing or technically “good.” Instead, we intentionally practice setting aside goals, critiques, and product-oriented thinking and focus on the experience you have while you are painting instead.

When we slow down, quiet the noise and deeply listen, something incredible happens: We begin to hear ourselves again. We begin to trust ourselves again. We begin to remember who we are.

Why this might be the perfect fit for you?

If you’ve been…

  • Craving creativity but feel blocked or unsure where to begin

  • Longing for a safe, supportive space to express yourself without judgment

  • Moving through a transition or a tender chapter of life

  • Tired of holding it all together and needing a space to simply be

  • Feeling disconnected from your body, your voice, or your joy

…then this practice might be exactly what your soul needs.

In this space, we value:

  • Intuition over instruction

  • Curiosity over certainty

  • Embodiment over outcome

Women who've joined these series often describe it as a homecoming - a return to self. If you are feeling the nudge to reconnect, to play, to release, to rediscover, then I invite you to say yes.
