What the River Taught Me & How You Can Join In
Hello Creative Soul,
Last month I had the opportunity to spend 6 days rafting on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, Idaho with twelve(!) strangers. No connectivity, no toilets and lots of love. Here's what I learned:
It's nice to lead and it's just as nice to be led.
The messy unknown is an integral part of the process. We found freedom in
releasing and relinquishing control.
Our raw, true, alive, wild nature is in all of us.
Quiet is deeply healing.
Painting side by side naturally brings feelings of closeness. That's us
painting rocks on the last night. A few brushes, some paints and a headlamp!
Shared, meaningful and sometimes uncomfortable experiences are where its at for me.
Check out new dates for our Nov/Dec Process Painting Series. Join us in October for Print What Matters: Value Cards with Mary G and our Make-Up Group and Drop-In. All info and links to register below.
See you in the studio!
Big Love,
Elissa

October Workshops
Sunday, October 19th from 11AM-4PM: Print What Matters: Value Cards
A workshop exploring core values through art. In Print What Matters, you’ll be guided by Mary Gambarony, to explore your core values through a reflective relief print process. You'll leave with a personal Value Card—a visual expression of what matters most to you right now. When we live in alignment with our core values, we feel more at peace, more fulfilled, and more ourselves
Friday, October 24th from 10AM-12PM: Make-Up Group & Drop-In
If you missed a group in a series and would like to make it up - Join us! No Fee. If you are a first timer and want to begin or a returning painter and want to continue your practice without joining a series - DROP-IN.
November Workshop
Friday, November 7th from 6PM-7:30PM: Exploring Healing: Sound Bath & KAP Conversation
Exhale, settle in, and let the evening begin with a restorative sound bath led by Nicole & Rosie. After the sound bath, stay for an open, judgment-free Q&A on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)—what it is, how it works, safety and set/setting, and how sound can support preparation and integration.
This is a FREE event. Please register for head count.
