I Still Believe In Magic
Hello Creative Soul,
Can you imagine with me for a sec? It's the fall of 2012. My daughter is just over a year old, and I’m tired in a way that sleep doesn’t fix. My days are a blur, and the constant hum of Am I enough? is getting louder. My creativity? Gone. I was fading, shrinking into roles and responsibilities, quickly forgetting the parts of me that used to feel alive.
Then, one weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a Process Painting Workshop in NYC, and something shifted. The smell of paint. The quiet, focused attention. No pressure, no judgment, no expectation. Just endless colors, wide-open space, and permission for me to show up exactly as I am.
It was magic.
To be honest, I created Wild and Free because it was what I needed most. I needed a place where I could drop the mask and just be real. A space to explore, experiment, take risks, get messy and still belong. I needed space to listen, to respect, to not abandon, to follow my energy, and to feel the buzz of creativity instead of overwhelm.
Now, I get to witness that same magic in this studio every single week. With this unique setting, the right art materials, and gentle guidance, we return to the source of our creative expression, the parts of you that feel alive.
